Health Calculators

Two health calculators that show their math.

BMI Calculator computes body mass index from your height and weight in metric or imperial units and places it in the WHO adult weight categories (it isn’t meant for children and teens). TDEE Calculator estimates how many calories you burn in a day with the Mifflin-St Jeor equation and your activity level, then gives maintenance, cutting, and bulking targets. BMI’s categories are population-level screening bands, not a diagnosis, and BMI can’t tell muscle from fat. TDEE is an estimate, and calorie needs vary from person to person. Treat the numbers as a starting point, and talk to a health professional about medical questions.
