Flip text three ways — spelled backwards, words in reverse order, or lines flipped top-to-bottom — instantly as you type, emoji-safe, with one-click copy.
How to reverse text
- Paste or type in the top box.
- Pick a mode: Characters, Word order, or Line order — the result updates live.
- Copy the output.
Three reversals, three different jobs
Characters is the classic backwards-text effect — usernames, puzzle answers, novelty posts, and the quick way to read something you photographed in a mirror. Word order produces grammatical chaos with readable words (“was it that how” style) — beloved of word games and the occasional Yoda impression, but also genuinely useful for reversing comma-separated sequences. Line order is the quietly practical one: a log file or chat export that arrived newest-first becomes chronological in one click, and a ranked list flips to countdown order.
The palindrome check, while you’re here
Type a phrase and switch to Characters: if the output reads the same as the input (ignoring spaces and punctuation), you’ve got a palindrome — “never odd or even” survives the trip. For counting the words you’re flipping, the word counter runs the same live-as-you-type way; to clean text before reversing, the remove line breaks and case converter tools chain naturally.
Private by design
