Need just pages 2–4 of a bank statement for an application, or one chapter out of a long report? Type the pages you want, and get a new PDF containing exactly those — nothing else. Free, no signup, and the document never leaves your browser.
How to extract PDF pages
- Add your PDF — the page count appears so you know what’s available.
- Type your selection — pages and ranges like
1-3, 5. - Click Extract pages, then download the new PDF.
The everyday “just these pages” problem
Portals and people rarely want your whole document. Visa applications ask for specific statement pages; landlords want the income page, not the full report; a colleague needs the two pages that concern them. Sending the full file is oversharing; screenshots look unprofessional and lose text quality. Extraction produces a clean, real PDF of precisely the pages required — with the original text intact and searchable.
Extract vs delete vs split
Extract (this tool) names the pages to keep. Delete PDF pages names the pages to remove — pick whichever means typing less. Split PDF turns every page into its own file when you need all of them separated. After any of these, Merge PDF reassembles pieces in whatever order you drag them into.
Limits and tips
- Selections are forgiving: spaces are fine, duplicates are ignored, and
5, 1-3returns pages in document order (1, 2, 3, 5). - Clear validation: asking for page 9 of a 4-page file tells you exactly that.
- Size: files up to 100 MB; password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first.
- Fidelity: extraction copies pages byte-faithfully — no recompression, no watermark.
Private by design
Extraction runs as client-side JavaScript on your machine. There’s no upload endpoint, so the pages you extract — often the sensitive ones — stay entirely under your control.
