Pages in the wrong order after scanning or merging? Drop your PDF above and rearrange it visually — every page appears as a live thumbnail, you move them with a click, and the badge on each page shows its new position. Free, no signup, and the document never leaves your browser.
How to reorder PDF pages
- Add your PDF — every page renders as a preview thumbnail.
- Move pages with the ← and → buttons under each one. Moved pages are highlighted, and each badge reads “new position · was original page”.
- Click Apply new order, then download the rebuilt PDF.
Why visual reordering beats page numbers
Tools that ask you to type a new order (“3,1,2,4…”) assume you know what’s on page 3. After a messy scan session or a big merge, nobody does. Seeing the actual pages while you rearrange removes the guesswork — you’re done in one pass, not three attempts. The same live-preview approach powers our page deletion and page extraction tools, where you click pages to mark them.
Where this fits in the PDF workflow
Reordering is usually the last fix after assembling a document: merge your files first (merge controls file order, not page order), then reorder here if pages inside a source file were misplaced. Scanned duplex documents with interleaved pages, decks where the appendix landed mid-file, or contracts with a signature page in the wrong spot are the classic cases. For sideways pages, fix them with rotate before or after.
Limits and tips
- 96-page cap for the visual grid (for now) — split larger documents into sections first.
- Moved pages are highlighted so you always see what changed; Reset order takes you back to the original arrangement instantly.
- Quality: pages are copied, not re-rendered — output matches the original exactly.
- Encrypted PDFs need their password removed before they can be rebuilt.
Private by design
Both the page previews and the rebuilt document are produced by your browser, on your device. There is no upload endpoint — close the tab and nothing remains.
