How this is calculated

Net pay in Oklahoma = gross salary minus federal withholdings minus Oklahoma income tax. Federal (tax year 2026, Rev. Proc. 2025-32): income tax on gross minus the standard deduction ($16,100 single / $32,200 married) through the seven brackets (10%–37%); Social Security is 6.2% up to $184,500; Medicare is 1.45% plus 0.9% over $200,000 (single) / $250,000 (married). For 2026 Oklahoma replaced its six brackets (HB 2764) with a 0% band on the first $3,750 of taxable income ($7,500 married) and rates of 2.5%, 3.5%, and 4.5% (top cut from 4.75%), applied after a standard deduction of $6,350 (single) / $12,700 (married) and a $1,000/$2,000 personal exemption. Worked example — $60,000, single: federal income tax $5,020.00, Social Security $3,720.00, Medicare $870.00, Oklahoma income tax $2,154.50 (taxable $52,650 through the brackets); net $48,235.50 per year, about $1,855 per biweekly paycheck. Credits and pre-tax items are not modeled.
